terptree held their first BSL taster session on Tuesday 29 July 2008.
The session covered an introduction to Deaf people and the use of sign language, how to fingerspell, sign names and how to sign:
- What your name is
- Where you live
- What family you have
- What work you do
- What pets you have
All that attended enjoyed the session very much and said that it gave them a real insight into sign language.
